Fleuchaus & Gallo is delighted to announce that Dr. Benjamin Grau is rejoining our firm. About 10 years ago, Ben had competed his training to be a Patent attorney with F&G and spend the recent years collecting experiences with other European Law firms working for domestic, international and multinational clients.

It is an enthusiastic moment to have Ben coming ‘home‘ and enriching our selection of skills and experiences in outstanding high end technologies.

Ben is an experienced patent prosecutor and litigator, who has practiced IP in the area of biotechnology, pharmaceutical developments, diagnostic technologies and medical devices but also in the field of computer implemented inventions, encompassing core technologies, such as hardware, software communication technologies and data processing, enabling technologies, such as AI, machine learning, 3D systems, IoT and data management and security, and corresponding application domains. In view of his expertise in different scientific and technical areas, one of his unusual skills is the combination of life sciences and computer sciences and as such filling the gap between different technological areas. His practice extends to the preparation and prosecution of domestic and international patents, IP due diligence, and legal opinions relating to IP matters. Ben has also supported clients in patent and trademark litigation and trademark prosecution.

Ben is also a member of the epi´s Online Communications Committee (OCC) and part of the EPO´s front office working group.

Ben’s educational background includes a Master Degree in Biology from LMU, Munich, a Ph.D. in Neurobiology from LMU, Munich as well a PostDoc position in Neurobiology, Molecular Biology and Genetics at the Cajal Institute, CSIC, Madrid.
